    The American Legion was formed to assist returning veterans and their families. From this meager beginnings many programs have been developed to help not only veterans but our communities, and the nation.

    The programs are what the Legion is about. The programs are also your biggest recruiting aid. Recruit new members to help work the many programs, or to start working new programs. Get the current members involved with the programs.

    As your programs grow, as your community involvement grows, your membership will grow.
